The point is…even something old and rusty can be beautiful!
Continuing with the rusted theme, this piece of barbed wire was just begging to be captured! The purple colour was actually an old faded wall (the white bits are where the paint had been chipped away).

Oh how I love rust and barbed wire. 🙂 The colors are subtle and beautiful (love the muted green) and Duotone sets this photo off perfectly. Well done!
Duotone certainly did a great job on the background colour, thank you Caryn.
You make wonderful macros, congratulations!
Thank you very much!
I love the purple tones in this image a lot – they contrast the rusty wire beautifully. Your focus is spot-on too!
Thank you very much Martina. 🙂
really nice in selective focus
Thank you kindly Fabrizio.
I was really lucky the wall behind the wire was this colour, couldn’t have asked for a better background eh?
The point is in here, how can be changed a simple rusty things when an artistic eye touches of them… This is amazing, fascinated me so much, dear David, great shot. Thank you, with my love, nia
Thank you Nia for a wonderful comment, always appreciated!
The wire looks like a hand holding up the devil’s horns.
I can see it! Thanx for the comment. 😉

As I too said earlier – rustiness is cool! 😀 Great shot.
Ahh, it is isn’t it? I don’t think I’ll ever tire of shooting rusted out objects! 😀
Great shot. Nice sharp detail and framing, and the purple/white backdrop works really well.
Thank you very much Stevie. I too, think the wall works wonders in this image (and no colour changing in post)! 🙂
I also find barbed wire fascinating too, when treated as a photographic subject.
Great point (no pun intended…or…)! Thank you for commenting and for stopping by, greatly appreciated!
Your “Rusted Theme” are amazing and simple. Great work.
