This weeks theme over to The Daily Post is: Graceful
Graceful:
adjective 1. characterized by elegance or beauty of form, manner, movement, or speech; elegant: a graceful dancer; a graceful reply.
I have always wanted to get better at shooting stars but just haven’t been able to dedicate the time but have managed to capture a few images. I love the mountain/tree tops silhouetted against the sky in this image. How does this fall into graceful? Well, it’s certainly beauty of form, manner or movement (you kinda had to be there for the last one). The Milky Way is just so darn…graceful!
About the image: Taken on a tripod, shot at f/2 with an ISO of 2500. I forget what my shutter speed was but want to say it was around 15 or 20 seconds (probably 15) using a Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art lens. My Canon 5d Mark III was used.

David, time shots are hard. This is in an incredible shot. I need to make more time to do night shots but getting away from city lights and being up late pose a problem for me right now. Also, I need a tripod which is really critical for this kind of picture taking! Fantastic image! Have a good weekend!
BEAUTIFUL! Our world is definitely full of grace and beauty.
Outstanding night image, David.
Very nice.
