From Flickr’s group Macro Mondays, the theme is: “”Negative space” is the area around and between the object(s) in the photo. It helps to strengthen the visual impact of the subject photographed as well as add a dramatic effect to it.”
Here’s my take on today’s assignment. My garage has many faces, one of them happens to be a computer graveyard. I’ve been wanting to take apart a hard disk drive for sometime and capture it somehow…what better time than the present? The surface of the disk is reflecting a red curtain…looking forward to play around in the future with my now “open” HDD!
Enjoy…

Wow, great picture!
Thank you!! Good to see you around again. 😀
Very clean image. I really like the crisp focus, the red background and the lighting.
Thanx Mike. 😀
Nice and sharp David! I love lots of negative space in photos 🙂
Thank you Eden, I had fun with this one. 😀
Great macro shot David. I think the colors and the duotone theme make your shot stand out.
Awesome job!!
Thank you so very much Sasi. The next step is, how do I take the disk out of the casing…hmmmm
