After seeing the expression, the title instantly hit me! ๐
The shot was a little difficult as I was shooting through glass and finding a spot where there would be minimal reflections (containing human reflections of course) was a challenge. Only three days after our visit and I really want to head back to the zoo! ๐ Enjoy…

It’s so funny! ๐
love this!!
Why thank you! ๐
I love locking eye’s with these creatures! Great capture! I love the zoo btw. I know a lot of people find them sad, and I do to kind of, but I love going!
We had a great time at the zoo, can’t wait to head back!
Excellent shot, especially through glass. And very effective in black and white.
Thank you Mike, to tell you the truth, I was glad I converted it over!
Great shot. Looks like he’s looking right at you. Nicely done.
Thank you Sandra, I thought the same thing…it’s kinda creepy in a way!
Love his expression for this shot. His posture reminds me of the “3 monkeys” sculpture ๐
This would looks great with a tad bit of warm up filter effect.
It sure does look like one of the “3 monkeys” sculpture doesn’t it!
He is so adorable, makes me want to hug him! ;). Shooting through glass without reflections isn’t easy and you’ve done a great job. Like the color too.
Thank you Martina. ๐
I couldn’t have told it was through glass if you hadn’t said so David. Great shot!
Thank you Jim, I tried to find just the right spot for the minimal reflection factor! ๐
He looks like he’s about to offer you a rude gesture with his left hand! Well composed. The lines all lead directly to the gorilla – and you can’t tell it was shot through glass. Nice shot.
Lol, I didn’t even see that Mike! Thank you for the comment.
