“The moon is friend for the lonesome to talk to”
~Carl Sandburg
Last night was the Harvest Moon (basically the full moon closest to the fall equinox). I totally forgot about it but when I was taking out the garbage I couldn’t help noticing how everything was being illuminated. Looked up, saw the moon, went back in and grabbed my camera & tripod!
…Enjoy!

Darn! I hate when I miss the full moon!! I did a few near to full though. This is beautiful!
I almost missed it…thankfully I had to take the garbage out! Lol
Love the picture, thanks. Is that in B&W or color? I can’t tell. Your next moon shot has to be a blue moon. The next one is July, 2015. Mark your calendar, I hope it is a clear night and do it in color to see if it really is blue..
Hahaha, good one dad…I’ll have to remember that in 2015!
