Every year here in Seattle we have Folklife Festival every Memorial Day Weekend. Folklife started in 1972 and has been going strong, this year having over 6000 performers and more than 60 community groups to share their art, music, dancing and of course, food! There’s a ton of people doing all sorts of things and it’s such a great opportunity to capture some awesome busker (street performer) portraits! Here’s a shot of my son Devon (gotta love the shirt…and that smile) posing with some new friends!
