Beautiful light. I like the dark town, partially silhouetted against the low sun. All set under enormous skies, very nice composition.
Thank you for visiting and commenting Tony. The town was actually brighter due to the HDR processing but my better half (Amy) said she didn’t like it so bright, “to me, the town should be darker in a sunset image”…I couldn’t argue with her! 🙂 Hope to see you around again and thanks again.

Seriously though, this is an awesome picture. It’s refreshing to see a color shot every now and then, and this was definitely a good choice. I love the swath of color across the port.
I actually tethered my camera to a balloon and let it float up and up and up……..NOT! 😉 I’ll get off the B&W kick and back to colour one of these days. Personally, the last few B&W conversions were the only choice. 😀
