Theme: Shooting at f/1.4
Hope you guys are enjoying this theme, I know it’s been fun (and challenging at times) for me to focus on capturing at f/1.4! I took this while at Northern State Hospital the other day, there was just something about this (weed?) growing out of the windowsill that really captivated me!
I’ve still got a few more images to post so….stay tuned!
…Enjoy

so impressive, so impressive… Thank you, love, nia
Thank you so very much Nia, always appreciated!
Very nice!
Thank you Carissa, glad you like it!
I really like this shot and the dof is what makes it work. The plant looks like fireweed.
Are you sure that you don’t actually live at the Northern State Hospital? You are out there an awful lot. 🙂
I think you are right about it being a fireweed (or the start of one), good call my friend!
I really should start listing NSH as my second address (I can’t help but head out there, I never grow tired of being there…a good sign).
It is quite captivating. Very nicely framed and the DOF really helps add interest.
Thank you, I rather like the DoF in this image! 🙂
I like the way you framed it, very cool, David.
Thank you very much Martina!
