Theme: Shooting at f/1.4

Took this shot while on a hike, a day where I decided to only take one lens and wishing I had brought others…still, it was great to shoot with just one lens all day and I stuck with shooting at f/1.4! Oh well, it was a super fun day as we had a great time hiking (as always)!

  1. I hardly ever shoot @ f1.4, but this series is definitely inspiring me. That first facing car by the rail looks like a classic car and with the grain and shallow DOF, makes it bit dreamlike. I really like the composition but because that car is so different than the SUV, it makes me wonder what a square crop without the SUV would look like. Excellent one, David.

  2. Deception Pass? I can’t get Charlie to walk out on that bridge, she gets freaked out by heights. 🙂 Actually, her perspective when on the bridge is probably pretty close to this… intently focused on the railing. Nice shot!
