My first thought for today’s post was to use an image with just simply great textures in it, I even had an image in mind. The image I was going to use was captured at Northern State Hospital and while looking through that folder, I ran across this one which just screamed at me to add some funky, scratched up, burned out texture!
f/2.5 | 1/60 | iso 640 | Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM
The texture is from >>Shadowhouse Creations<<, No. 5 texture used from the “Odds and Ends Texture Set”, blend mode: Hard Light
…Enjoy!

Love the soft tones and composition!
Thank you very much.
I love the tone of this David. It almost looks frozen
Frozen, I can totally see that! Thank you for the comment, greatly appreciated!
I very much like this shot – not necessarily for the processing (which I do like) but for the depth of field and how it seems like there is more of it than is really there, probably because of a similar distance to the pipe and tap handle. Interesting effect.
The pipe does provide an interesting aspect to this image doesn’t it? It still amazes me what we pass day in, day out yet seem to ignore such as…this valve. 😀
great image!
Thank you very much for commenting as well as for visiting, hope to see you around again!
