David Williams Photography Fenced

My friend Ehpem over at >>Burnt Embers<< posted a few shots of some fences awhile back which inspired me to do this fence theme. This particular fence is part of a wonderful walkway (for another view of the walkway, click >>here<<) which follows the Skagit River in Mount Vernon, Washington. In the background you can see the trestle bridge which connects the city.

What I like: I really dig the focal point in this, all the texture in the face of the metal is simply wonderful. The rope wire which is right next to the metal face is pretty cool too! 😀

  1. Wow – me inspiring you? Its normally the other way around. Nice coincidence that my post today also has a fence playing a prominent role 🙂

This is a great shot – I love the way the wire comes into focus right at the post – it leads the eye right through those holes; the depth of field is perfect for this shot.
