I got the idea for a Portrait of a Nail (and his little sister) from Katie over at >>katie’s camera blog<< who in turn, inspired Nandini @ >>Life Just Is<< to do the same. Continuing with the same fence from the last two days, I present yet another view. 😀
The textures were from >>Shadowhouse Creations<<, a truly great place to get textures!

Wonderful isn’t it – the chain of inspirations. I loved this photo, David. The nail is posing so well for this portrait. Hehehe. 🙂 😉
Awesome photo! Amazing detail in the barbed wire, combined with nature’s own “barbed wire”, the thorny branches.
Warning: do not attempt to climb over this fence! 😉
Ahhh, there’s just something about me and rust, me and old decrepit things…what can I say but…thank you!!
Okay, you got me David, This is my fav of the series. I have been staring at this nail for the last twenty minutes wondering how it got this way. The title is great and the composition is spot on.
What a great photo – I love the fabulous depth of field and the great textures. You really gave those two nails some character, they almost seem alive!
