I was thinking (I know, it’s dangerous for me to be doing that)…why take product shots all the time when it’s all nasty and raining outside…why not take a few portraits? Here’s my Caitlyn Rai, just chillin for the lens…
Strobist info: Canon 430 EX II shot on manual at 1/4 power using the wonderful Apollo 28″ softbox, camera left. Triggered with Cactus v5 transceivers.

Beautiful, both the girl and the image!
Thank you so very much, I’ll totally agree Cait is beautiful (okay, okay, so is the image)! 😉
Thank you kindly Andy for the wonderful comment as well as for visiting, hope to see you around again.
Adorable shot David, she’s lovely. You must be very proud 🙂
I am extremely proud of all three of my kidlets, each one has their own AWESOMENESS (and then some) about them! Thank you for the comment Eden.
She’s beautiful David. Those eyes will be trouble for you one day! 🙂
ahhh, one day? I think they already are (as I check for white hair on my head)! 😉 As always, thank you for the comment Bonnie.
simply perfect, a spectacular portrait
Thank you so very much Fabrizio!
Nice Lighting Dave. I need to practice more. I am pending too much time processing summer pictures. I guess that’s what I get for being lazy 🙂
I love playing around with my speedlites Charlie, have to say I have a freaking awesome time figuring out the different angles, what the power should be (as I always fire my speedlites on manual), how the F stop will impact the light coming in, etc. etc. etc., so many things for my ADHD mind to chomp down on, it’s simply wonderful! 🙂 I say get out there and have fun man!!!! 😛
David, you know what’s wierd, I looked at the blogs I follow and I saw Cait’s blog and wondered where she was? So glad to see her, always a pleasure to meet my future mentors.
Hi Martina. I talked to her about her blog recently, she replied: “Daddy, I took the summer off because, I am a kid after all! Now, I am going to school. Perhaps we can go out on the weekend?” How could I argue with such logic? 🙂
