Today’s assignment from Flickr’s Group >>Macro Mondays<< is Personal Dreams. Here’s a description from the Flickr group:
So for this week challenge please bring to life macro interpretation of your “Personal Dream”. We all have it, some can crazy and almost impossible, others can more emotional and personal. This should be an interesting exercise that will let a little bit of our personality show even more using a media we love.
At first, I thought this was going to be a hard assignment but almost right away, I knew what I had to do. This is a shot of my son Devon through the eye of my youngest daughter Caitlyn. My personal dream is rather simple, to have my children be as happy as they can be! Enjoy…

Thank you Brandon for such a cool comment, I often wonder if my concepts are any good/cool for Macro Mondays! Sorry I haven’t hit up your blog in awhile, I am working my way down the list trying to catch up, why must life be so busy at times eh? 😀
What an incredible photograph!!!
Thank you Polly not only for such a great comment but for stopping by and visiting. Hope you have enjoyed what you have seen and here’s to you stopping by again! 😀
Holy smokes David! That’s an amazing image! I have never even considered getting a reflection out of an eye before, was it hard to set up?
Hey Jim, thank you for the comment! The setup was rather easy…keeping the subjects still was another story! After the second shot, I realized having Cait stand was pointless (she moved around too much) so I brought out a chair for her to sit in and rest her head against the back. Then, I had Devon crouch down so he could be at her eye level (poor guy, he’s 6’1″…did I mention he’s only 14?). Lucky me, I only took 8 shots (so they wouldn’t get too cranky on me). 😀
