I found a great new place to capture these little fellas over the weekend, bees were all over the flowers on the trail we went hiking on. I suppose that’s true with most trails this time of year, but hey…I stopped to look and that’s the important thing! 😛 Enjoy…

Being that I just spent an entire Saturday sitting among the flowers trying to capture these fellas I had to say…awesome shot David!! I now know the patience one goes through to grab a clear picture of a busy bee. Great job!!
I know it’s the framing and angle that make the bee look so huge. At least, I hope the bee isn’t that huge in real life…
As far as bee’s go, it was a rather large fella! 😀
Looking is the important thing, stopping is a bonus. Great photo capture David.
Thank you Martina. I think non-photogs (doesn’t matter on “the level” of the photographer) really miss out on so many things visually. Stop and enjoy the little things eh! 😀
It’s an OK shot – I don’t see what all of the buzz is about…
Hahaha, that totally made me laugh. 😀
Great composition David! Just enough with the two flowers and one stem to provide context and environment, without distracting from the bee.
Thank you Jim, I’ll admit I really didn’t like the yellow’s in this image. Worked on them in PP, they were just too…bright! 😀
Nice shot of the bee. They can be so hard to get sometimes… they are just so darn busy!
They are busy little fellas, just glad I took my time on the hike and paid attention to my surroundings!
The bee is a big fella, nice shot!
