Yesterday was a lonnnng day! We put on about 250 miles traveling between family and, lucky me, we got back in time for the sunset. I’ve always wanted to do an HDR of the sunset, so here we go. I think there’s still some things I need to learn when it comes to extended exposure HDR but hey, it’s fun playing around! Enjoy…

What an amazing image! Those colors are just just perfect. Very soothing. Is this a 3 exposure shot? I haven’t gotten the hang of HDR yet.
Thank you for your wonderful comment. Yes, this is a three shot HDR image. I haven’t done any prolonged exposure HDR images, had fun doing it. 😀
Incredible. I like the overall smoothness, especially the sky reflection in the water. The horizon lines with the shift in color is really pleasing.
Thank you very much Brandon! I was pleased (well, mostly) with how this HDR turned out. 😀
Your HDRs are always good…never overdone at all. I like!
Thank you Jolene, been working on them! 😀
This is pretty cool, David!
Love the colours and textures 🙂
Thank you very much. 😀
Beautiful colors, I like it. You are doing a great job with your HDR images.
Thank you very much Martina, still a work in progress but I am really starting to dig my HDRs!
Gorgeous shot David! You can barely tell where the sky ends and the water begins!
Thank you very much Jim.
Beautiful color! Did you use a filter?
Hi Angelina, no filters used. I think creating this image using HDR really helped w/the colours. Having a prolonged exposure created an interesting effect with the clouds if you ask me, provides a “movement” feel to it. 😀
A to the mazing! Thank you for sharing :))
What a great comment Lisa, thank you so much!
Stunning!
Thank you very much Mike, means a ton!
