Earlier this year while out enjoying the tulip fields, a really good friend of mine asked why I carry around a little empty squirt bottle along with my camera gear. The answer of course is that if I see a cool flower shot, I can pour some of my water into it, spritz the flower and viola, I have instant rain on a sunny day! 😀
Now lately, we’ve had rain every flipping day here so there’s no need for my little spray bottle! Thankfully, the rain died down long enough for me to head out to my backyard to grab this shot. Can you see my house reflected in the droplet? Enjoy…

This took my breath away!! I love it!
Ooooh, so pretty! I have yet to take a shot like this!
Thank you for wonderful comment Yuliya, I am glad you like it. Hope to see you around some more. 😀
Breathtaking. Super like!
Hehehe, thank you so very much!
Fantastic photo!
Thank you Bonnie.
Lovely macro shot David. Looks like you’re having a ball with the floral shots 😉
I like the abstract nature of this shot too.
Thank you Sasi, I think this is the first year that I am actually looking forward to the hot weather (I am so a winter person).
It’s a great photo, natural rain looks the best! I love the colors here!
I agree Martina, thank you.
Great shot David, I love the composition!
Thank you, this was actually the second compo I used, the first was with the droplet in the lower left position, I like this one better! 😛
Great Shot David. I can see something in the rain drop but I can’t figure out what it is.
The idea with the spray bottle is great….I will copy this idea…..if you don’t mind…
Thank Schleefy, happy to have provided the “instant rain” tip! 😀
Gorgeous!
Thank you very much Angelina.
This is a beautiful shot David!
Marci! Thank you for not only stopping by but for your wonderful comment (about time you commented). 😛
