Lake Diablo

The kids and I took a little drive up Highway 20 to find a hiking trail I was told about that has a great waterfall at the end of it. Well, I think I found the “parking spot” which leads to the trail but we never made it as we were having way too much fun and wanted to keep going!

We ended up going all the way up Highway 20 until the road closes (it’s about 60 to 70 miles from where we started). 🙂 Unfortunately, by the time we got there it was getting dark so I figured we should probably head home! No hiking, but we had a blast which is, after all, the only thing that matters! Enjoy…

    • Thank you for stopping by Anthony as well as for the comment. I was there about a half hour before sundown. I wish I could have stayed for another hour and half but alas, my kids would have killed me!! 😀

    • It sure was! Right before this location, you drive down this road with HUGE trees on both sides and then turn a bend (and head down a little hill). Well, the fog (clouds perhaps, it was high up) wasn’t on the straight portion of the road and when you turned the bend this was basically the sight you saw. Very breath taking I must say. 😀
