The Frost, sometimes it’s just freaking cold!! Ha, bet you thought I was going to finish a quote from a certain Gladiator movie eh?
Sigh, I had every intention of posting another “love” (okay, it actually had a heart) photo today but as usual, I had very little time to actually take the shot and I didn’t like any of the shots which I captured. I’ll try again tomorrow in the meantime, enjoy a little shot I took this morning.
Sometimes, I get asked where I take some of my photos and usually, the answer is really surprising to them. Take this shot, it was captured in a little water run off pond on the main drag in the city which I work! I can’t tell you how many times people drive past it and don’t even give it a second thought!
…d
That’s a really lovely photo, I love the colour scape, the softness to the colours and the composition as well.
Thank you, I am glad I decided to stop that morning. 😀
Love it. I really like this one. Your photographic eye discovers things that so many others overlook. Nicely done. This is the sort of image that evokes ‘feelings’ for me.
Thank you so much Martina for your wonderful comment. I often wonder (perhaps it’s human nature) if my eye catches things “interesting” to others (I know they are interesting to me)!
Nice shot David. Looks very peaceful.
THank you Sasi.
Great shot David! I love how the water just fades to white at the edge of the frame.
Thank you Jim. I too, really like how it fades to white (perhaps one of the things I like the most)! 😀
Very nicely captured, most times we are so focused on getting to work, we seldom take the time to notice the beauty that we’re passing every day. Good Job David.
Thank you Mike, it’s a shame isn’t it. I think it’s rather important to take the time to see “the little things” as JP mentioned!
One of the things I love about photography is that is focuses my attention on all the little things I probably wouldn’t notice otherwise. Well-seen!
Thank you JP. I love the same aspect about photography.
Ooohhhhh. I was looking forward to that shot you talked about all day! Sigh….
I understand – you have a vision in mind, and you wouldn’t be happy unless it turned out the way you pictured it. This is a cool shot, though! Being a good photographer means you see the things everyone else misses. 🙂
Thank you Jolene and yes, you are so correct regarding what I had in mind but the good news is, there’s always the next time. 😀
