Operation!

Today’s The Daily Shoot’s assignment is: “Today’s theme is red. Red hot? Red paint? Or something else? You decide. Make your photo and then reply with a link!”

Okay, I’ve been doing enough “studio” type shots lately and thought I would mix it up a tad by taking today’s photo at work. Yes, this is a pen…an Operation pen! It does actually work but alas, I only have two hands and I couldn’t take the photo and use the piece to make the nose light up (that would have been classic)! Oh well, there is always next time…hope everyone has a great weekend! Enjoy…

  1. Love this one! I love your “studio-type” photography, probably because I don’t do it (yet), and its good to see this out-of-studio type ๐Ÿ™‚
Yes, the red-nose would have been a nice touch, but alas, none of us has three hands… ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thank you for your wonderful comments Mike, it’s always great to read feedback like this! I have really enjoyed doing the studio/product type shots, it’s been a great learning experience! Third arm would certainly come in handy at times wouldn’t it? Lol…

  2. Ah–he just looks so vulnerable, not even a sleeve to wear his heart on…

I really used to love this game, too. And didn’t every ‘part’ have a kind of clichรฉd name for it? Very nice focus and blur in this one.

  3. Lol… so David… this is how you get through your busy work day. Love this shot. Very nice compositon and dof. As a kid, Operation was one of my most favorite games. Okay, I probably would still play it. So where did you buy it? I want one! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Ahhh, even though I am Canadian, I choose to plead the fifth (which I can do)!! Actually, work is so busy that I hardly get the chance to even contemplate playing with this little guy! Now, as where I got it from well, tt was a give away at a conference sssoooo, outta luck on that one! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
