Today’s The Daily Shoot’s assignment is: “Make a photo that features stripes of some sort today.”
What a busy day! The family and I took a little road trip down to Seattle for lunch, some shopping and to visit my parents. Was a really good day…but long! When we got to our fist destination, I felt lick such a noob as not only did I forget my tripod but apparently, I left all my memory cards at home! Looking back, it was a blessing in disguise as I didn’t worry about holding up the clan wanting to take a shot of this or that or them…it was a good day! 😀
Macro day (again)…this time, I am not going to tell you what it was I shot…can you figure it out?

Hehehe, lens envy…I have a story. Last baseball season we were leaving Safeco Field (The Seattle Mariners) and this chick walked by. I turned my head and followed her when **WHACK, I get a slap on my arm. Amy looks at me and says…you were checking out the lens not the chick weren’t you?? Yupppp, I sure was (she had a nice canon 400mm L on a monopod)!!

I remembered after I posted this that you had taken a similar shot and figured you would guess what it is! Love how the same subject can be used yet, look differently depending on the photog! Good post on your take. 😀

Hi Cassie, it is a pastry blender. Basically, it’s used to mix in butter (or the likes) into flour when baking.
