Today’s The Daily Shoot’s assignment is: “Take color out of the equation and make a monochromatic photograph today.”
My thought on today’s assignment…why does it have to be black and white? Being “monochromatic” really is just being null of other colours.
I got the idea today as I was snacking on some Ritz with…yup peanut butter! Anyway, hope everyone has a great weekend…enjoy!

Great idea! And what a good looking shot….I am trying to picture you smearing the peanut butter so it looks just right…
Ahhh, I will admit the PB smears were applied once, no retakes! I think I might have mad PB application skills I was unaware of! 😀 Thanx for the comment.
Another very creative picture. Even your peanut butter swirls are aesthetically pleasing. What a great mood you’ve made, too, with the reflections–almost ‘heavenly.’ Did you create that in the photo editing?
Thank you Heather. The reflections are as they were captured, no adding in post editing at all. 😀
Yummy and I love the reflections , the order in which they are arranged
😀 Thank you.
I like your thinking outside the box in your presentation. It also got me hungry. Nice display.
Thanx Martina for the comment, I actually had to rearrange the crackers a few times till I liked how they were positioned!
That looks yummy. Love the arrangement of Ritz crackers in this composition.
Thank you Sasi!
oh I like this! Great still life with lovely reflections.
Thank you Amber for stopping by, hope to see you around more. Personally, I think the reflections make the shot!
Beautiful photo! I feel hungry now!
Thank you Mike, was glad I could munch on the subject…gotta love it when you can do that!
Very stylish.
😀
Very nice! You’re really mastering that macro lens. Its amazing that even f/16 has such a shallow DoF… I think thats gotta be my next lens.
Thanx Eric, I am really digging the lens! 😀
