Wonderful shot. Making art from the mundane objects of everyday life…Love it. 🙂
I plan on taking more like this, stay tuned…
Great focus! This was like an Escher shot for me. My eyes at first saw the gold, and it looked like a crinkled piece of sheet metal on the diagonal. Then I read your caption and my brain put it back together. Very interesting!
I love your thought process, I wouldn’t have though Escher until you said it! 😀 I find it interesting the different “takes” on this image, having set it up and (dur) shot it, all I see is the key! 😀
Great shot David! The point of focus being right on the point of the key’s tooth is perfect!
😀 Thank you Jim.
Nicely done, David.
Thank you Nigel! 😀
Interesting shot !! at first it looked like a golden foil bent here and there, your title made it clear
I can totally see the foil, I thought it was interesting how the side of the key is such a different colour than the rest. Thanx for the comment.
Nice idea…love the DOF and hint of gold.
I’ve been thinking of a shot for a while that includes skeleton keys. Haven’t had any luck finding anything interesting.
Thanx, can’t wait to see what you do!
