Today’s The Daily Shoot’s assignment is: “The rule of thirds is a time-honored composition guideline. Put it to use today in a photo.”
This is the first time I have used textures! I found these poor (almost) dead flowers hiding away on this shelf we have and how could I pass up shooting them? I got the idea of using a texture from Morgan Ramirez’s blog Miss Morgan’s 365 Photo Project where she added a texture to an image of some Dum Dum pops, thanx Morgan! Enjoy…

David, I clicked on your name from another blog in order to just see something new. I browsed through a few of your photos and I just kept clicking and clicking. I think you have some fantastic shots here. I’m glad I clicked! Happy Shooting.
Thank you for the wonderful comment Cheryl! I am glad you stopped by and enjoyed my photos. Hope to see you around more!
Great photo.
Thanx Nigel! 😀
You bring life back into these old flowers. Nice shot! I like the effect.
Thanx Jolene, I am really pleased how they turned out!
I like it. I have not done much with textures – it’s one of those things on my list to try. And Happy New Year!
I enjoyed playing around with this photo and am looking forward to trying them out more!
Happy New Year!
Thanx Nancy, I hope you and your family had a great New Years eve!
I hope to be experimenting with some of these in the new year – once I figure out how to work photoshop 🙂
Textures are interesting, I am looking forward to playing around some more!
