Today’s The Daily Shoot’s assignment is: “Make a photograph today with strong direct light that casts crisp dark shadows.”
I so couldn’t resist doing another Christmas shot. I had this shot in mind all day and when I got home, I didn’t realize how LARGE these snowmen are! Kinda put a crimp in my plan but, I think I captured today’s assignment.
Okay, so the shadows are not that crisp!! Meh, I still like it.
Enjoy…

Love them and how they are presented ! Creative and funny ๐
Thank you very much! Glad you stopped by, hope to see you around.
Cute little ornaments.
Thanx Sasi!
These are the cutest little decorations, and they make really interesting patterns in the surface they are sitting on.
I feel as though the next photo should include them submerged in some kind of fizzy drink, as the cutest little ice cubes ever XD
Good idea, submerging them that is! Perhaps I just might do that. ๐
Great shot! I love the reflections you get under your subject. I’m going to have to play around with that effect.
Thanx Jim, I have been enjoying using glass/Plexiglass as a reflective surface. I am still learning how to get the best reflection/clarity! ๐
Your Christmas shots have been fun so far – crisp or not!
Thank you, I’ve been having fun coming up with the shots. ๐
I would seriously consider dunking those bad boys into a cold coke!
That’s funny and gives me an idea for a possible shot for these bad boys…it’ll be an end of season shot perhaps… ๐
This is awesome! Where did you get those cute snowmen? ๐
Yeah, maybe shadows are not that “perfect”.. but who cares when the shot that good?!
Thank you!! I really like the photo even though the shadows aren’t crisp. ๐
I have no idea where they came from, I got them one year in a “White Elephant” (a Christmas ornament exchange)…what a catch eh?
