Last Friday night I went up to the mountains to try and capture The Northern Lights but sadly, there was no light show. I did meet up with a few other local photographers and we made the best of it. My friend Bill was thoughtful enough to bring the materials to do some light painting with steel wool (did you know steel wool burns?).

Yes I did.
I have a quite a few light painter photography friends and THEY LOVE to spin steel wool. I find it a little intimidating, but it looks so cool. Great shot!
