Disclaimer: I don’t photograph folks who are on their own photo shoot by another photographer. I do this as a courtesy to the client and as a professional courtesy to the photographer. Having said that, I did get an unsaid “yes” from the photographer to catch this one shot, I couldn’t resist as it was a great opportunity with the Space Needle in the background. I just wish the photographer would have moved to my vantage point as I know where she was shooting from, the Space Needle was not in the frame (perhaps the client wanted it that way?). Anyway, I made sure to stay way clear and far away so I wouldn’t get in the way of the photographer or distract the client (damn, not so wordless but I had to give this disclaimer)!

I am going to be the voice of dissent here…I don’t care for the Space Needle bisecting the couple (maybe if it was to the right of the groom I might be okay with it, but I’m just not crazy about the background. I find it too distracting.. Is this photo supposed to be about the couple or the scenery? (not crazy about their pose either, but that’s on their photographer…)
Sorry to be the wet blanket.
Missing an “end” parentheses after “background.”
Great shot! Did you clone out the guy holding the veil or did he toss it up in the air? I shot them a bit but mostly when they weren’t posing for the photographer. 😀
I totally and completely loved the way you have composed it, David! Loved the veil flowing in the wind. Awesome timing.
Great shot David. Very creative use of the Space Needle in the background and timing of her veil floating in the breeze. I think they should’ve hired you as their photographer. 🙂
This is defiantly a framer for the wall!
Wordless Wednesday or Wed nice day ?
It is a beautiful capture David :-). Did this shot spark a little interest in wedding photography?
I’ll admit, a little spark was created!! 🙂 Thanks for the comment.
