What a great find! I’m not sure I would even know how to use one of those any longer. I’m curious of what the price per gallon was when it died….assuming it is inoperable 😉

Thanks Donna, it’s out on Highway 20 and have passed it many times…just never stopped to capture it before!
I remember the days when we hand pumped the gas into a glass container above the pump then released it into the tank. There lines on the glass. That’s how you gauged the amount of gas you took. Of course, gas was only 25 cents a gallon then. I think there is still one of those pumps in Lynwood on 99 by a little shop.
Ohhh, I’ll have to hunt it down sometime, thanks dad! I remember the spinning bobble type thing on the sides of the old gas pumps, I loved watching that thing spin like a mad man!
