The image was taken somewhere south of Newport, off the Oregon Coast. Somewhere because really, I don’t recall where we stopped for this image! I decided to go B&W (sorry Dad) because the colour version was rather…boring!
…Enjoy!

Wow, what a stunning image. I love your powerful black and white treatment and the cloudy sky really adds to the mysterious atmosphere. Many compliments!
You certainly do have rocks, David. 😀
It’s Goonie Rock ❤ from the movie.. those rocks are beautiful
Love the Goonies! 🙂 Thanks for the visit and comment, always appreciated!
What lovely rocks you have! They remind me of the New Zealand coastline.
Thanks for the visit and comment!
They look like sea lion bulls raising heads in defiance. Terrific processing and detail.
I love all the details..the textures and the footprints in the sand. Lovely shading and contrast too.
“Sorry Dad” made me chuckle! The B&W is stunning
Lovely photo, and it being in black and white does add some drama and makes it quite striking.
This is amazing, David! Love the black and white conversion, I think this treatment really brings out the textures and the contrasts of those big rocks. Very well done!
David…your photography is mind blowing!!
You have BIG rocks! This is gorgeous! Looks perfect in B&W!
