This weeks photo challenge over at The Daily Post is: Challenge yourself to rethink your ideas about what subjects are appropriate, and then challenge yourself again to find an unusual perspective on your subject.
Typically, I always see this view from ground level while walking though the alley…thought I would share a different PoV (from a staircase).
…Enjoy!

What is down the Post Alley (love that you shot it from above)
If you head up the alley you will get to Pike Place Market and in doing so, will pass the Gum Wall. Oddly enough, I really haven’t taken many images of the gum wall…something I really should do one of these days! Thanks for the comment, greatly appreciated!

Wow, this is cool!
Thanks Nandini!
Great shot, David. Love the perspective. I find that there is a feeling of suspense since I cannot see the end of the path. If I look at it long enough, it’s as if I am expecting that someone/something will walk into the frame any minute.
Funny you should say that because I actually waited awhile for there to be no one in the frame! 😀
