Awesome! Love lighting shots!
Thanks Jeff, Lightning shots are certainly awesome to look at…even better when you get the chance to get out and capture your own!
Gosh you did tremendoulsy well to capture this at only 5 secs.. did you take a lot of shots that night?
Ha, well…I only had a half hour shooting time but was basically taking shot after shot for about 15 minutes! 🙂 Thanks for the comment and for the visit Helen.
Fantastic!
Thanks Carissa!
Good god, David, this is marvelous. The framing is so unique for this type of shot…with the lightning to the left, moving the light to the right. Wow!
Hey there Brandon. To be honest with ya, when I first saw this image on my monitor is so disappointed the lightning was to the left of the Needle. After looking at it more, I actually really like the positioning…not a “common” placement for lightning (then again…is there really such a thing)?
Cool. I tried a few times to capture lightening but it did not work out. Nice job 🙂
Thanks Charlie, glad you like it.
Spectacular storm, well captured.
Thank you for stopping by and commenting, it’s greatly appreciated! Glad you like the image, hope to see you around again.
Hey! Great photo. Can you window shop it to make it look like it is striking the Space Needle? That would be awesome!
Hahaha, I love ya dad…you really do crack me up! 😀
Wow! Great shot, David! I can feel my hair standing up from the lighting charge. 🙂
Hi Em, it was really something else to be out there when capturing this! 😀
Wow, David! What an incredible capture! Holy smokes! This one is absolutely brilliant (no pun intended)! You can feel the intensity of that electrical charge on the image. It’s beautiful, I can’t stop looking at it.
Thank you very much Gracie, so glad you like it! I think I really lucked out being this was my first attempt to capture lightning! 😀
Great shot !!
Thanks Bernie for stopping by and visiting, really glad you like my image and I hope to see you around again.
I literally said “WOAH” – out loud…at my desk in the office (oops!) when I opened this up!! What a phenomenal shot!!!!!
And I believe I said “holy *bleep*” when the thunder went off followed by a “ooohhhhhhhh sweeeet” when the lightning followed that night!! The sound of that storm was INCREDIBLE, I don’t think I’ve ever heard thunder so deep, rich, insane before. 😀 Thanks for stopping by and commenting Adrienne, greatly appreciated and am really glad you like the image!
