Weekly Photo Challenge: Foreshadow

So there we were, walking around Seattle when Cait and I decided to hop into a few bolted down chairs on a pier…what a great time for a picture (and even better…she agreed)! A huge thanks to Amy for being a great sport and taking the picture. I can be a tad fussy ya know, had to have the settings correct for her and if you can believe, I only made her go back and re-shoot once. 🙂 Thanks love, you did awesome!

Foreshadow: Be a warning or indication of (a future event).
Why did I pick this as the weekly photo challenge over at The Daily Post? It’s a foreshadow of my babe…my babe holding hands. Sniff, my babe holding hands with someone else…how do we stop them from growing up?

…Enjoy!

  1. This is a very very good photo, I love it. And now that I know it is the two of you, even better!
She probably is already holding hands with someone else (they do start early you know) so you have to let go of those Dad-ish thoughts and let it happen. Besides, in a decade or two that hand she is holding then will be an addition to your family (hopefully he, or she, will be someone you like having around).
I wanted to comment on your other site, but there seem to be obstacles to doing it easily and I lazed out. Glad to have the chance here:)

    • Sigh, I absolutely hear what you are saying and agree. I love your view point, I just wish her “time” as my little babe lasted longer. I they will always be my little babes but there’s a difference between being able to walk down the street holding hands swinging our arms back and forth, trying to back-kick each other…just fooling around vs. walking in front with her headphones on. 😦 I know, I know, every parent goes through this and I realise it’s time for me to let go of how things were but look forward to how things will be!!!
