Have these signs sprung up all over since last year’s election legalising pot use in WA?
Surprising enough…no! In fact, this is the first time I’ve seen any signs at all discussing the smoking of pot in public! I am sure that’ll change as time progresses. 🙂
So why did I see a group of young folks (21?) sitting on the grass smoking a bong in front of a couple of security officers. I never did see this sign. Maybe Seattle’s vote about a decade ago is still in effect. They voted to encourage police to ignore recreational drug use while at the same election voted down a school levy. Seattle politicians like to proclaim themselves ‘progressives’. Now there is another perfectly good word gone to the dogs.
Wow, I didn’t realize that…encourage ignorance while killing a school levy…that is pretty sad!
Like John Denver said, I guess he’d rather be in Colorado!
