I decided to drive aimlessly around the back roads yesterday afternoon to see what I could find and ended up at what appeared to be some State game hunting reserve (Meh, I would rather shoot with my camera)! 😀 I wandered around for 45 minutes trying to find some form of wildlife and finally caught sight of a hawk (I believe) which I will post tomorrow. While processing this image, all I could think about was spring! To me, the dead blade of grass forms a flag/banner of sorts…perhaps the Winter Banner of Defeat? 😛 Okay, it’s early, give me some leeway eh!
…Enjoy!

Excellent shot! Nice to see some greens…
We have about 30cm of snow on the ground right now, so, yeah, I am jealous.
Ohhh, we got some snow south of us here…go figure (no snow all year, first day of spring and it decides to show up)! Of course, we have no snow at our house… 😀
Wow! The colours in this are absolutely beautiful! Great shot.
Thank you! 😀
Does this mean we can come home now?
Hahaha, no…stay there. Everett got snow last night if you can believe it!
Nice shot David. Spring feels far away here. We just got a bit of snow unfortunately.
Hopefully spring is just around the corner for you guys!
Time will only tell David 🙂
I,like the contrast with the background….!
Thanks for the comment, glad you like the image. 😀
