“Nature and books belong to the eyes that see them.”
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Ohhh, the things one can see if only one looks. We happened upon this leaf while on our hike last weekend, I wonder how many people walked passed the fella without ever noticing? Hope you have a great weekend and of course,
…Enjoy!

😀😀Great find and perfect processing…have a good one……
Thank you very much!
It looks like a plant. Did someone plant the plant leaf there? How does a green leaf end up on decomposed vegetation in late winter in the Pacific Northwest? That is the question. Great, photo, Dave
No idea if it was a plant (ahahaha) or not! 😀
Awesome find, David! Doesn’t the leaf look like he is wearing a sad face?
Sometimes I prefer to go on photo walks by myself, coz I can take my time, without having to listen to someone nagging me to “hurry up already!”. LOL.
Yes, a sad face is there (perhaps from the fall?). 😀 I usually go on photowalks by myself, love the alone (me) time AND I can take as long as I want. 😉
David, I’m so glad to see some photos from you! This is a great find, I love stuff like this (and I do love me some Emerson).
Thanks Melanie, it’s good to be back…I have missed all the comments and of course, posting! 😀
LOL, good,spot David!
Thanks Tina! I think sometimes my kidlets think I am crazy as I tend to take a “little longer” while on hikes as I am looking all over the place. 😀 Hope you have a great weekend.
