The photo challenge (over at The Daily Post) for this week is Beyond: “Do you have a photo which invites the viewer to look beyond? Are there hidden depths in the background? Is the focal point just a framing for the rest of the picture? If it’s not clear why we should look beyond, tell us! Lead us through the story in your photo.”
My take on the challenge is what’s beyond the tree’s being enveloped by fog? After you follow the path to the tree line, doesn’t it seem like the image should keep going but the fog is limiting what’s out there leaving it to your imagination?
I took this shot yesterday while Cait and I were at Northern State Hospital for a mini-photo shoot. We didn’t get to stay long due to time, however, I do believe I’ll post a Wordless Wednesday shot from our outing.
…Enjoy!

Lovely, David!
Thank you very much, glad you like it!
Beautiful photo, David!
Thank you Gracie!
Maybe they are shooting another one of those teenage vampire moves just beyond the trees.
Hahahaa, you totally crack me up dad!
The good thing about a foggy day in winter is that it is not snowing, unless you live in the Yukon or Alaska where you get ice fog at -40F and the ice crystals fall out of the air as snow in the form of small ice pellets.
Interesting, glad I don’t remember that! 😀
It reminds me of old times when I lived in a foggy place.
Your photo suggests enchantment and softness…………Beautiful!
Glad I could bring back good memories, thanks for the comment/visit!
Great Shot!
