Cait just loves these boots! She got them as one of her birthday presents and I think we, as parents, scored!

I think perhaps one of the reasons she agreed to go shooting last night was that I told her the focus was going to be on her boots not her face! We do what we have to do right? 😛
…Enjoy!

Those are pretty boss. Seems you are enjoying them as well. 🙂
They really do look awesome on her, thanx for the comment. 😀
I love these boots! I miss Cait’s face though!
I totally agree, wish she would “allow” me more head shots!
Love the boots. I really like the first shot. Excellent use of depth of field and converging lines.
Thank you, the first is my fav too. 😀
Fab boots and nice shots.
They are still her fav so we did good!
It’s nice to know that every once in a while we get it right as parents. Great shots.
🙂 It’s always great to know when we DID get it right! Thank you for the comment.
Those boots are really cool! The colors on the laces are excellent subjects. Excellent DOF too, David.
Thanx Gracie, I am sure that’s just one of the things that Cait loves about these boots. 😀
Remember Nancy Sinatra’s song, “These boots are made for walking and one of these days these boots are going to walk all over you”? She is almost a teenager, so watch out!
DAD!!!! Wow, thank you so much for visiting (and about time you commented). 😀 Of course I remember that song and boy, I think we are in trouble with both the girls but hey, we can always send em over to granddad’s place eh?
My senior year in military college was called the ‘Year of the Boot’.because Nancy’s song had come out that year and they booted out over 20 seniors that year (a real rarity to be kicked out in your final year). I was an honor guard member for one of my friends at his court martial and was a witness for the defense at another’s.(there were 12 of us). When we were all asked at the court martial if we heard him ask the waitress ‘why the hell can’t I have water’, we all said no. So the Commandant declared none of us were witnesses because we didn’t hear him say it. I was one of the cadets that sat next to him during the alleged encounter.
Needless to say, I survived the ‘year-of-the-boot’ even though I was going AWOL twice a month to court your mother. TMI?
Nice boots (and shots). She should show them off. Though your portraits of her face are fantastic too, she probably won’t appreciate that till she is in her 20’s.
I am certain she will appreciate the images later in life…I just wish she would allow me to photograph her more now! 😉
nice …. nice … nice … nice
Thank you very much for the visit and for the comment, hope to see you around again!
