Funny thing about this image, I didn’t realize he was looking right at me when I took this (I was across the room and it was dark’ish)! Texture…texting…meh, what can I say!

No idea what he was leaning over to get/look at (perhaps he was playing his guitar), but glad he looked at me when he did! Okay, so no texture on this one but I couldn’t resist posting it since it’s a “Devon” post kinda day. 😀
…Enjoy!

Love the second shot!
Thank you, I am certain by the smile on his face when he saw the images that Dev likes them! 😀
Me gustan mucho las dos, pero en la segunda me encanta su expresión, ¡está guapísimo!, besos David
Hahaha. His expression is great, thank you for the comment Manoli.
I love that direct eye contact in the first picture – as the commenter above says, the whole picture is just the quintessential teenager. Love the muted post-processing on the first one too.
Thanx JP, really glad that you like them! I tend to get that look a lot from ALL my kids, sigh… 😉
He’s a mini you. These are great photos. Are you saving all these for his girlfriend?
Hahaha, that was funny (he’s much better looking than I)! You know, I don’t think he has a girlfriend…
I gotta say, that second shot is excellent! I love how it was composed.
Thank you very much Gracie, I totally agree with ya!
He is looking very adult in these pictures. Nice captures. I think there are some messages in those looks, especially the first one, that I recognise from my own teenage boys.
And, ISO5000 and 6400!!! This has to be with your 5diii – what fantastic quality for such high ISO shots. What do you do to clean up the noise?
It’s kind sad, but he has a deeper voice and perhaps just a tad taller (though, I won’t admit THAT) than I! I cleaned up the second image using Nik Dfine 2.0. As always, thank you for your comment.
The first shot is such a typical teen. Love it. And the lighting in the second shot is very, very nice. 🙂
I love how in the first image, it’s just the one eye looking right at me as if to say…enough already! 😀
