The image was taken at Fort Casey which is a pretty cool place to go shoot, there’s always something new to find! 😀
My first somewhat serious attempt at a panorama shot (this is an 11 image pano). Not sure why, but the image I posted to this page is a little blurry, however, if you click the image you will see a “cleaner” version. Not sure why it would be blurry as I saved the file to the “correct” length for this theme…hmmm, something to play around with I guess. Definitely going to have to shoot more panorama shots! 😀
…Enjoy

Looks really good, and what a lot of shots! Now, for a dramatic sky to go with the long building and you will be all set.
Now, you do have a terrific sensor in your camera and you could probably have shot all of this on one frame with a wide angle lens and the cropped it to the same shape, for a lot less work and still have a pretty high resolution image 😉
I have been doing some panoramas lately too, of very old walls for an archaeology project, but with moving the camera location for each shot (each one is at 90 degrees to the wall). It is more like stitching together scans or something. I don’t have very good software for the joining, but it has been working out OK. One day I will be able to post some of those.
Nicely done! That is a very wide building! 😉
Thank you Judy and yes, it is one LONG place! 😀
Nice panorama Dave.
Thank you, I think this might be an interesting venture for me…it’s always fun learning new techniques!
