When I looked at this image, it reminded me of the other day when Devon and I were out and about. A red BMW convertible flew by us on the freeway and I chuckled, looked over at Dev, he was smiling and simple said “Dude, Out Run”! It’s a reference to an 80’s video game where you drove cars (one being a red BMW convertible). 😀
My sister’s in from out of town so we went to Deception Pass (which is where this was taken, on the bridge) and then out to Fort Casey. It was a great way to end the weekend, had a really great time! 😀

I like this shot. It reminds me of an on-foot version I photographed a year ago:
Thank you for visiting and for commenting (cute squirrel btw)!
I remember when outrun was one of the most popular games in the arcade. Nice. 🙂
Yea, I remember too…and remember what an arcade was (a conversation I once had with my son “dad, what’s an arcade?”)! 😉
Very well captured, David — it’s a great shot.
Thank you Mufidah, hope your travels are going well.
Nice motion blur!
Nice, I love the old video game reference and am impressed that Devon knows Out Run. Oh ya, the photo is pretty cool, too. 😀
Imagine me, I was super impressed (and surprised) he made the comment! 😀
