f/2.8 | 1/125 | iso 100 | Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM II @ 200mm
Good day all, the f/2.8 theme marches on. Today’s Texture Thursday image has two textures applied; one to add a canvas kind of finish (pretty technical terms eh) and the other is the border which also adds some “scratches” to it. The image was taken at Northern State Hospital and to tell you the truth, I have NO idea what kind of flower/weed it is…I just thought it looked pretty cool!
…Enjoy

I must say Dave that you and Brandon are so good at these textures.
Such a beautiful dreamlike quality.
Of textures, the “raised” type of texture application is likely my favorite. This seems like someone is looking at the flower thought a thick pane of glass. Great one, David.
Nice, great minds think alike as Amy said the same thing about the thick pane of glass! I would have to agree with you about the raised textures, love em!
so beautiful. Thank you dear David, love, nia
Thank you for the comment Nia, glad you like it. 😀
That’s a great use of texture. Lovely.
Thank you very much, glad you like it. 😀
Very nice, David! I like the canvas texture you used, it adds some softness at the image.
It’s supposed to read: “it adds some softness to the image”.
I totally understood what you meant! 🙂 Thank you for the comment Gracie.
