Ran across this little fella while visiting the Japanese Garden in Seattle…I would say he’s sunbathing but hey, I was in Seattle after all (okay okay, Seattle does get pretty nice weather during the summer)! 😛
…Enjoy

The sheer tone of this shot is worth the price of admission. Nice.
This is a fantastic photograph. The DOF is nice and I love the way you processed the photo!
Love the focus/dof on this shot
Thank you very much!
Wow, my mouth just dropped. Very cool shot!
Awwww, thank you very much Kevin!
Nice capture, David. Didn’t think I would ever say this but… after experiencing four months of sun and blue sky, I am starting to miss the Seattle rain… 😉
…your comment SO cracked me up Em! Glad things are going well for you, we need to connect soon. 😀
awesome composition!!
Thank you very much, I was actually a little surprised to see him. 😀
Lovely capture, David! I agree to the comment above, the rock formation does resemble the shape of the turtle, in fact, it was what first caught my attention 🙂
🙂 The thing that caught my attention when I was there was this group of kids just staring at the middle of the pond…it does pay to be aware of your surroundings eh! 😀
Like Melanie, I like the repeat of shapes between the turtle and the rocks. Nicely done!
Also, what is the finish on the photo?
It’s just a textured layer I added in post processing. 😀
Thank you very much for visiting and for commenting! Hope to see you around again.
The rock formation and grassy area almost resemble the shape of a turtle.
Yea, I can totally see it Melanie! 😀
