Over the long weekend, the 41st annual Northwest Folklife Festival took place in Seattle. It’s a 4 day event which showcases musicians, artists, (o so yummy) food from various different ethnic backgrounds. Of course, my description really gives it no justice, there’s just so many things going on…highly recommend going if you are ever in the Seattle area over the Memorial Day weekend. One of the attractions of the festival are the ever so talented street musicians, the image of this gentleman was taken from one such group.
…Enjoy!

The PP rocks here, David. Muted tones of course, always a favorite of mine. For some reason, I really like how he is not directly looking at the lens, making me wonder what is happening just off to the right.
Nice I love places like this.
It was a ton of fun and I am already looking forward to next years festival!
Wonderful shot! I really like the muted tone of this photo, I think it would have been too busy otherwise, judging from all the trinkets he has on him.
Yup, you are absolutely correct Gracie…was just way too busy in full colour! Thank you for the comment. 😀
I just loved the amount of color in this photo, David! Great job. 🙂
Thank you very much Nandini.
Wow, he’s just got cool to spare! This photo simply crackles with atmosphere.
Lol, your comment totally cracked me up! Thank you Melanie. 😀
Excellent light
Thank you for visiting and commenting, it’s greatly appreciated! Hope to see you around again. 😀
Absolutely love this shot David.. most excellent reduction in colour really draws the eye into his face.
Thank you Helen…to tell you the truth, the full colour was just too distracting!
Yep I imagined that it would be..
🙂
