Over the long weekend, the 41st annual Northwest Folklife Festival took place in Seattle. It’s a 4 day event which showcases musicians, artists, (o so yummy) food from various different ethnic backgrounds. Of course, my description really gives it no justice, there’s just so many things going on…highly recommend going if you are ever in the Seattle area over the Memorial Day weekend. One of the attractions of the festival are the ever so talented street musicians, the image of this gentleman was taken from one such group.

…Enjoy!

  1. The PP rocks here, David. Muted tones of course, always a favorite of mine. For some reason, I really like how he is not directly looking at the lens, making me wonder what is happening just off to the right.

  2. Wonderful shot! I really like the muted tone of this photo, I think it would have been too busy otherwise, judging from all the trinkets he has on him.
