The kids and I took a hike last weekend and instead of staying on the main path, we decided to go “off roading” which was really just taking a side trail! The girls didn’t really want to take the side trail as the entrance was a little overgrown and dark but after we got through that first part it was smooth sailing! I often stop mid path to capture an image and am certain my kids are use to it by now as it didn’t even phase them when I stopped to take a picture of a downed tree! 😀

Same tree, same place just a slightly different point of view offering different flare! 😀
Happy Friday all and…
…Enjoy!

The way the flare brings my eye to the focal point on the tree is crazy.
Nice. The selective focus and low angle reminds me of that glorious moment when you have finally have made it out of that overgrown “short cut.” Great one
The second shot is amazing. I love how you captured the flare.
really inspiring your treatment of light, i liked very much your idea
Flare and greenery! My favorite two things! The light in the second photo is amazing!
That looks like a wonderful place to go hiking. I love the persepective and lens flare immensely!
The pic says it all..I prefer the second one though!!
Ethereal.
