This was taken late August while we were spending the weekend at Long Beach, Washington. Yes, that is a horse Kaylea’s riding and yes, the grass (if that’s what it is) was really THAT tall!! I decided to fool around in PS for this image, converting to B&W, adding a jagged edge to make the image look “old”. Also added Kaylea’s name and a thin line to create another border…Enjoy!

Want to see it clearer? I think it looks SO much better in the lightbox anyway. 😀

beautiful shot and tones …
Thank you very much Klaudia, it’s greatly appreciated! Hope to see you around again.
Beautiful portrait and, yes, even more stunning in lightbox. 🙂
Wow – what a beautiful portrait! The framing, depth of field and b&w treatment are excellent. Bravo!
Great portrait. That grass is crazy!
Beautiful shot, David. Nice B&W processing.
David, this is a photo to frame for life! I love it. Of course Kaylea’s smile makes the shot.
I wanted to inform you that I nominated you for the the Liebster Award on December 14. In case you missed it, here is the link.

Great capture David, and nicely composed!
Beautifull composition. The b&w is the right choice for that photo. Excellent work.
Beautiful job..
Beautiful, David and the B&W works so well with the lighter grass and darker horse
What an awesome portrait! I love the B&W conversion.
