Macro Monday ~11.21.11~ Metallic!

David Williams Photography Canon 5d Mark ii

From the Flickr group Macro Monday, today’s theme is: “This week task is to represent in a macro fashion anything “metallic”!”

I found a metal fence the other day and the point where the metal cable ended intrigued me. Wish I had my tripod with me, oh well…I still like it! 😀 Enjoy…

  1. twisty cables are really cool to photograph, just a suggestion David, the bokeh is nice but the ring holding it all in the background would be nice too! Pretty good for a 100mm macro handheld, pretty difficult to do it right, but this has come out nice!

    • Thank you for the comment Adrian, I too would have liked to have more of the clamp in focus. We were leaving the park where I found this and light was becoming a rare commodity…no tripod…meh, I like it! I still think there’s enough “focus” to know that it’s a clamp. 😀
