Me: Cait…what colour would you say this is?
Cait: I would say a pale pink.
I spent sometime today playing around with water droplets. While it’s not a “cool” shot (although, the droplet is pretty cool, just not as…large as I would have liked it), the colours really captivated me! For those wondering, nooo, I did not change the WB to get this cool colour. 😀 I had this “pale pink” see-through wrapping paper out in the garage and decided to gel my Speedlites. Ohh well, more fun tomorrow eh? Enjoy…

The quality of your photography surpasses many I saw this past weekend at the Bemis Art Show. Did you get there to see your sister’s art on display? Beautiful! You two are really blessed with spirit.
I love your colour treatment and the shallow depth of field a lot!
For me, the person who captured the image, the colour is certainly the thing that makes this image for me especially since the colour was not changed in post processing! As always, thank you very much for your insightful comment Martina, greatly appreciated!
Striking image. Just gorgeous.
Thank you Caryn, glad you enjoyed it!
Nice David! I like the twist on the traditional droplet images!
Thank you Jim, I was trying to go for a more non-traditional shot (glad you liked it)!
Excellent!
Thank you Brandon. 😀
There is something so cool about the color. It almost makes the water/glass look like a chalice. Really interesting to look at. 🙂
The colour really did captivate me in this image, thanks Katie.
Another very cool water droplet picture!
Thanx Mufidah, I’ve enjoyed capturing the droplets.
