Meet >>Joy Olney<<, a local painter who was visiting one of our local “flower” farms with a painting group. This time of year, we have many farms who specially grow various types of tulips, daffodils and other various flowers (the emphasis is on tulips). Unfortunately, the cold weather has really delayed the wonderful fields which normally populate our valley, there’s still plenty of time. ๐
I was taking some shots of tulips up against a wood fence when I looked up and saw this. Right after I took the shot, I went over and introduced myself and asked if she would like a copy of the photo, hope she likes it! ๐
…d
Im sure she’ll like it! That was very nice of you.
She did like it, I was just happy I was in the right place and the right time. ๐
Looks great and good idea….good one
Thank you, I heard back from Joy and she liked it!
Hmm. I like….much better than the traditional tulip photos that everyone else aims for. You’re right, the blooms have been delayed, but hopefully we’ll get some good color soon.
There’s still time, not too concerned…yet! ๐
That’s a great perspective. Always nice to see artist’s in action. I’m sure she will love the photo.
Thank you Martina, I don’t see why she wouldn’t! ๐
Great shot! Hope she enjoys it as well!
Thank you Jim, haven’t heard yet…
She’s lovely!
She certainly was nice! ๐
