Joy

Meet >>Joy Olney<<, a local painter who was visiting one of our local “flower” farms with a painting group. This time of year, we have many farms who specially grow various types of tulips, daffodils and other various flowers (the emphasis is on tulips). Unfortunately, the cold weather has really delayed the wonderful fields which normally populate our valley, there’s still plenty of time. ๐Ÿ˜€

I was taking some shots of tulips up against a wood fence when I looked up and saw this. Right after I took the shot, I went over and introduced myself and asked if she would like a copy of the photo, hope she likes it! ๐Ÿ˜€

  1. Hmm. I like….much better than the traditional tulip photos that everyone else aims for. You’re right, the blooms have been delayed, but hopefully we’ll get some good color soon.
