Another Rainy Day

“Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain.”

Yup, another rainy day in the lovely Pacific Northwest! Rather nice for me as all I needed to do was head out my front door and capture this water droplet falling from our rhododendron! Hope everyone has a great weekend! Enjoy…

    • Thank you very much Sasi, sorry I haven’t been around your blog as much as I would like, it’s been pretty crazy busy (as it as the last few months). I plan on making my blog “Catch up” this weekend!

  2. Nice shot David! I love the simplicity of the background. I’m with Martina to be honest though, I prefer your old logo better as well. What do you use to make them by the way? I need to put one together myself.

    • Thank you Jim, logo…hmm, what a fun little thing! I think the issue with the logo on this image is that I didn’t lower the opacity on the logo layer enough. What do you think of the later images?

      • The lower opacity on the later images definitely helps, no doubt. I think I still prefer the old though. I like the thinner, flowing script of the capitals and the more simplistic nature of the lower case letters. Of course, this is from the guy who hasn’t gotten around to making a logo at all yet, so take it for what it’s worth!

        • That totally cracked me up! I was thinking the width of the lettering is a little too broad. I am working on something else right now. The issue I am having is finding the “right” font. 😀

    • Thank you very much Morgan, I received two others and am in the process of figuring out a photo that can go along with my response (the questions and all). Again, thank you very much!!

    • Hi Martina, thank you for the comment. I had a few people here (and off line) tell me they like the old logo. I am getting creative and working on a new one…still playing around with it though. 😀
