Mount Vernon has a wonderful tulip festival each year so I decided to see how the fields are doing. Well, let’s just say either the fields are hiding (must be friends with the birds) or, they are just not ready yet (I am opting for the second)! I did find this field of Daffodils though, enjoy! 😀

Beautiful, bright flowers to cheer up a grey, rainy looking sky. Hopefully, the tulips will bloom soon…
I like it – I think the contrast of the flowers against the sky works better with the clouds than it would on a sunny day.
